Senior Full‑Stack Engineer – Open Finance

About the role

As a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer you will design, build and deliver cutting‑edge Open Finance solutions that power Mastercard’s next‑generation data products. You will work across the entire technology stack, from highly available backend services in Java to engaging front‑end experiences using React, collaborating closely with designers, product managers and architects.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in prioritization discussions with product and business stakeholders.
• Estimate, design, develop, test, deploy and document features to meet business requirements.
• Automate build, operation and runtime aspects of software.
• Drive code, design and process trade‑off discussions within the team.
• Report status, manage risks and ensure integration of services focused on customer journey.
• Perform demos and acceptance discussions with product owners.
• Develop a deep understanding of end‑to‑end architecture and dependencies.
• Promote adoption of technology standards and review code, tests and automation.

Required profile

• Strong backend engineering expertise, particularly in Java.
• Robust front‑end development skills using React.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and communicate effectively with product and design teams.
• Experience delivering secure, scalable and accessible software.
• Proactive attitude towards improving operational metrics and engineering experience.
