Senior Full-Stack Web Developer

About the role

The Senior Full‑Stack Web Developer will design, build, and support scalable web applications that enable key business capabilities for an insurance-focused company. This is an on‑site, individual‑contributor position reporting to the engineering leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop modern three‑tier web applications across front‑end, back‑end, and data layers.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, system integrations, and reusable services.
• Translate business requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
• Deliver complex features end‑to‑end, including development, automated testing, deployment, and validation.
• Make technical decisions that balance long‑term maintainability with business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a focus on root‑cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product owners, QA, architects, and cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and help improve engineering practices and standards.
• Support cloud‑based deployments, performance tuning, and scalability initiatives.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen or Green Card holder.
• Located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or Albany, NY.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and collaboration skills.
