Senior FP&A Analyst

About the role

Oliver Wyman, a Marsh business, is looking for a Senior Analyst to join its Americas Business FP&A team and own the financial support for the Industrials practices. The role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, analytics and business performance, supporting decisions that align with the firm's strategy and goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, analyze and present performance indicators to business and finance leaders
• Partner with senior leaders to turn financial data into commercial action
• Synthesize results to measure performance against annual goals and support practice forecasting
• Drive core financial processes using modern tools, including Tableau, ChatGPT and other LLM-based tools
• Improve operational efficiency, data accuracy and reporting quality

Required profile

• BA or BS degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or Mathematics preferred
• 3-5 years' experience in a consulting, financial or highly analytical role
• Experience with forecasting, budgeting and P&L analysis
• Strong communication skills and the ability to advise stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-changing environment

Required skills

• Expert Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and manipulation of large datasets; macro knowledge is a plus
• Strong PowerPoint skills
• Previous experience with Tableau (or SQL, PowerBI) or a strong desire to develop them
• Proficiency with GPT/LLM tools in financial analysis and automation is a plus

What we offer

• Base salary range of $89,000 to $115,000, depending on experience, skills, location and other factors, with possible performance-based incentives
