Senior Events Specialist

About the role

As a Senior Events Specialist on Vanta’s Strategic Events team, you will drive the planning and execution of high‑visibility conference sponsorships and flagship programs. You will work across multiple timelines, coordinate with internal and external partners, and proactively manage risks to ensure seamless event delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute Vanta’s presence at major conferences such as RSAC, Black Hat, Fal.Con, and AWS re:Invent, handling sponsorship logistics, exhibit design, and on‑site activation.
• Coordinate sponsor deliverables including speaking submissions, digital placements, lead retrieval, co‑marketing assets, and event activations.
• Maintain detailed calendars, project trackers, and status updates across overlapping workstreams.
• Identify dependencies and flag execution risks early to keep programs on track.
• Partner with Design, Product Marketing, Project Management, Revenue, and Field Marketing teams for pre‑ and post‑event activities.
• Collaborate with agencies, conference organizers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve logistics issues.
• Collect and report event performance data such as booth traffic, meetings generated, and pipeline contribution.
• Support flagship programs like Vantacon, VantaCon UK, and Trust Tours during peak production periods.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in B2B field marketing, event marketing, or conference production.
• Hands‑on experience managing large‑scale third‑party conferences and in‑house flagship events.
• Familiarity with third‑party event infrastructure, including organizers, agencies, vendors, and sponsorship deliverables.
• Experience with cybersecurity or cloud conferences (e.g., RSAC, Black Hat, Fal.Con) is a plus.
