Senior Enterprise Risk Management Specialist

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Specialist to lead and support the development, implementation, and ongoing operation of its ERM function. This role will work closely with senior management and system‑wide teams to ensure robust risk assessment, internal controls, and business continuity across the Bank.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, execution, and monitoring of ERM strategies in line with the Federal Reserve System framework.
• Gather, collate, and analyze risk data; prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership.
• Drive business continuity planning, including annual business impact assessments, exercise execution, and tabletop simulations.
• Support Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal control reporting.
• Participate in or lead Bank and System work teams, supervising junior analysts as needed.
• Develop, implement, and maintain ERM policies, standards, and procedures aligned with best practices.
• Partner with business units to identify risks, monitor action plans, and embed risk appetite statements.
• Apply emerging technologies and data‑analytics tools to enhance risk management practices.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage enterprise‑wide risk activities.
• Experience leading business continuity and disaster‑recovery initiatives.
• Strong understanding of ERM frameworks, SOX compliance, and internal controls.
• Proven project‑management mindset and ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Capability to supervise and mentor less experienced analysts.
