Senior Engineering Consultant – Equity & BSA

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Senior Engineering Consultant to lead high‑visibility equity, PCA and BSA projects for commercial real‑estate clients. The role combines technical expertise, client leadership, and team mentorship in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage PCA, Equity, and BSA assignments, including complex due‑diligence projects across multiple sites.
• Serve as the primary technical contact for regional and national clients, delivering risk assessments, capital‑need analyses, and technical recommendations.
• Evaluate building systems such as roofing, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, structural, fire/life‑safety, and accessibility.
• Develop project scopes, proposals, and technical approaches aligned with client requirements and ASTM E2018/PCA standards.
• Mentor and direct assessors, architects, engineers, project managers, and subcontractors.
• Support business development through trusted client relationships and technical expertise.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience managing PCA, Equity, and BSA projects (5+ years may be considered).
• Proven track record as primary technical contact for regional or national accounts.
• Strong knowledge of at least two major building systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Professional certifications such as PE, RA, ICC, or CRS are preferred.
