- Lead the architecture, implementation and refinement of a custom sub-GHz wireless protocol, evaluating technical trade-offs.
- Apply math and physics to power accounting and systems-of-systems optimization in resource-constrained environments.
- Design and implement HIL/SIL testing frameworks to validate robust, fail-safe code before V&V handoff.
- Use Git, Python, Bash and Linux to maintain clean, modular codebases and automate workflows.
- Perform hands-on board bring-up and system debugging to integrate hardware and software.

- Track record of production-grade code with rigorous HIL/SIL testing.
- Strong communication, organization, collaboration and adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Bonus: experience with AI-assisted testing systems, interfacing with overseas vendors, mentoring junior engineers or leading cross-functional teams.
Required skills
- C programming and real-time OSes (TI-RTOS, Zephyr RTOS)
- Git, Python, Bash and Linux
- Altium for schematic capture and board layout
- Power budgeting and system modeling with spreadsheets
- Ultra-low-power wireless protocols (IEEE 802.15.4, BLE, 900 MHz) and RF design and compliance testing
