About the role
Greystar is seeking a Senior Director, Talent Development to shape enterprise‑wide talent strategies. Reporting to the global People & Culture leader, this senior position will drive capability building across the organization, with an immediate focus on upskilling the workforce for technology and AI adoption.
Key responsibilities
- Define and implement an enterprise framework for talent development, setting standards, priorities and core capabilities.
- Collaborate with regional and functional talent development leads to ensure the framework is practical and aligned with business needs.
- Partner with senior leaders, HR Business Partners and People Strategy to link development initiatives to workforce planning and business priorities.
- Build and lead a small, scalable talent development team.
- Design and launch talent development programs, pathways and infrastructure for Greystar’s US corporate population.
- Own and evolve onboarding, manager effectiveness and professional development processes.
- Lead the upskilling strategy related to technology and AI, ensuring learning is directly connected to changing work requirements.
Required profile
- Proven senior leadership experience in enterprise‑level talent development or learning & development.
- Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on delivery capability.
- Track record of building and scaling talent development functions.
- Experience partnering with senior executives and HR business partners.
- Strong understanding of workforce capability needs in technology‑driven environments.
