Senior Director, Data Cloud Solution Consulting

About the role

Veeva is seeking a senior leader to drive adoption and growth of Veeva Data Cloud through pre‑sales engagements. This hybrid role blends deep technical data expertise with a consultative, client‑facing approach.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to subject‑matter expert on Veeva Compass and its data products.
• Adopt a consultative selling approach to understand client needs and design custom data assessments.
• Develop and refine pre‑sales frameworks, processes, and analysis templates.
• Manage multiple analytics projects, ensuring on‑time delivery and guiding team members.
• Provide thought leadership to shape market narrative and educate the industry.
• Collect market feedback to influence product roadmap and feature releases.
• Partner with account teams to build strong client relationships and support RFP responses.

Required profile

• 12+ years of healthcare data and analytics experience.
• Experience working with commercial teams in life sciences and managing client engagements.
• Proven ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Strong critical‑thinking, analysis and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and internal events.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial data sets (IQVIA, ICON, Komodo MapLab).
• SQL for large‑dataset analysis.
• Project‑management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Data‑visualisation tools (Tableau, Power BI) – nice to have.
