Senior Director, Data Cloud Solution Consulting

About the role

The Senior Director of Solution Consulting drives adoption and growth of Veeva Data Cloud through pre‑sales engagements. This hybrid position blends deep technical data expertise with a consultative, client‑facing approach to help life‑science companies unlock value from commercial data products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑sales engagements, building brand awareness and demonstrating product differentiation for Compass Patient, Prescriber, National, and HCP Pulse.
• Design and deliver custom data assessments and product demos that address critical commercial use cases such as patient discovery, revenue growth, and forecasting accuracy.
• Develop and standardize pre‑sales frameworks, processes, and analysis templates for scalable customer engagements.
• Manage multiple analytics projects, ensuring on‑time delivery and coordinating day‑to‑day activities of team members.
• Collect market feedback and relay insights to the Compass product team to influence roadmap and feature releases.

Required profile

• 12+ years of experience in healthcare data, analytics, and commercial life‑science engagements.
• Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders across client organizations and work with commercial teams.
• Strong critical‑thinking, analytical, and presentation capabilities.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and internal events as needed.

Required skills

• SQL for large‑dataset analysis.
• Project‑management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Data‑visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI) – nice to have.
