Senior Director, Customer Engineer

About the role

As Senior Director, Customer Engineer you will lead the Field Service organization for a division, shaping and delivering highly complex service programs that directly impact customer satisfaction and profitability. You will set strategic direction for customer relationships, oversee design, development and implementation of service solutions, and ensure alignment with corporate goals.

Key responsibilities

• Direct a field service group, managing design, development and execution of exceptionally complex service programs while meeting profit‑and‑loss and budget targets.
• Anticipate future account needs and introduce innovative service approaches across the division with significant customer impact.
• Define performance metrics, track progress, and report on division goals and outcomes.
• Provide leadership and approval guidelines for long‑term program, strategy and process design to senior managers.
• Interface with internal and external executives to resolve service and customer‑satisfaction issues.

Required profile

• Broad, comprehensive understanding of diverse systems, theories and business environments.
• In‑depth knowledge of the semiconductor and display equipment segment, enabling differentiation from competition.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑level teams, develop and execute business unit strategy, and influence senior executives.
• Strong problem‑solving skills to evaluate key business challenges and drive innovative solutions.
