Senior Director – CTMS Strategy

About the role

Veeva Systems is looking for a senior leader to define and drive the market adoption of its Vault CTMS solution within the Clinical Operations suite. The role combines high‑level strategic planning with hands‑on execution to help sponsors and CROs manage complex clinical trials more efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute go‑to‑market strategies to increase adoption of Vault CTMS across life‑science companies.
• Act as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, demonstrating the value of a unified CTMS.
• Partner with sales teams to target accounts, support strategic sales cycles, and achieve revenue goals.
• Represent Veeva at industry events and conferences as the primary evangelist for clinical operations technology.
• Collaborate with product, marketing, and services teams to refine positioning, shape the product roadmap, and ensure customer success.
• Gather market insights and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and business strategy.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategic leadership, business development, or go‑to‑market strategy within a clinical software/SaaS/PaaS environment.
• Proven ability to move between high‑level strategy and detailed project execution.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for technical and C‑level audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
