Senior DevSecOps Engineer (TS/SCI)

About the role

CACI is hiring a Senior DevSecOps Engineer in Chantilly for its Clairvoyant program. You will build and support a mission-critical, cloud-native software-hosting and data-dissemination platform that accelerates the deployment of advanced analytics. The role sits on an AWS-based, Kubernetes-native environment, spanning secure pipeline design to cloud resource optimization, with up to 10% travel across the continental US.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable RKE2/Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS with high availability and fault tolerance.
• Build and refine CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD, Jenkins and Helm, covering build, test, scan and deploy.
• Integrate automated security scanning (Trivy, SonarQube) and enforce government security standards.
• Optimize performance by tuning clusters, managing artifacts and reducing bottlenecks.
• Author, template and manage Helm charts, and build hardened Docker images including STIG-compliant bases, integrated with Harbor and CI/CD.
• Manage RKE2 clusters (workload scheduling, networking, RBAC, secrets, lifecycle) and administer Harbor and Nexus.
• Write Python and Bash automation scripts, and maintain documentation, runbooks and architecture diagrams.

Required profile

• Current TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years (mid-level) or 6+ years (senior-level) in DevOps, Infrastructure or DevSecOps in a cloud environment.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.

Required skills

• Advanced Python and/or Bash scripting; strong Linux/Unix command line, preferably on RHEL.
• CI/CD with GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD and Helm; Docker and hardened images.
• Kubernetes hands-on experience (RBAC, networking, troubleshooting).
• Desired: AWS, Terraform, RKE2, Harbor, Nexus, Trivy, SonarQube, Cilium, Packer, Ansible, and CKA/CKAD/CKS, AWS DevOps Professional or CompTIA Security+ certification.
