Senior Developer Analyst (React Native)

About the role

Topaz is looking for a senior professional to design, build and maintain high‑quality mobile applications using React Native. You will work in a collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team that creates impactful solutions for the financial market.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the team in technical discussions with clients, product, design and other stakeholders.
• Define and follow architectural standards and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
• Analyze client requirements, propose solutions and provide effort estimates.
• Support stakeholders with software‑related questions and issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation.
• Validate software functionality and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop robust, scalable React Native mobile apps with exceptional user experience.
• Implement cutting‑edge features using functional components, hooks, context, navigation, etc.
• Integrate apps with REST APIs (and optionally GraphQL or WebSockets), manage push notifications and related technologies.
• Collaborate on animations, memory optimization and performance for mobile devices.
• Write unit and end‑to‑end tests and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Work closely with backend, design, QA and product teams to deliver features and solve technical challenges.

Required profile

• More than 5 years of professional experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, hooks, Context API and React Navigation.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and push notifications; knowledge of WebSockets and GraphQL is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience delivering Android and iOS apps in high‑transaction environments.
• Practical knowledge of unit and end‑to‑end testing and quality‑control tools.
• Proven ability to optimize app performance, handle animations and manage device resources.
• Familiarity with Expo‑based projects is desirable.
