Senior Designer – Architecture & Construction

About the role

CESO is looking for a Senior Designer to lead the creation of detailed architectural and construction documents for a diverse portfolio that includes retail, hospitality, industrial, healthcare and worship projects. The role combines design expertise, BIM/CAD production, and coordination of multidisciplinary engineering systems while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and lead the production of scaled construction plans and documentation from concept sketches and client guidelines.
• Create 2D and 3D construction drawings using CAD and BIM tools.
• Review projects for constructability and code compliance, incorporating authority requirements.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical sub‑consultants, ensuring adherence to company and client drawing standards.
• Support Team Leads and Project Managers in quality‑assurance reviews, performing red‑line mark‑ups and final checks.
• Prioritize tasks in a high‑pressure environment to meet project deadlines.
• Mentor and train Designers and Lead Designers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in architectural design and documentation.
• Registered Architect (RA) licensure preferred.
• Ability to travel as project needs dictate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Revit and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience using Bluebeam Revu and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Competence with Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook for daily tasks.
