Senior Data Scientist – Open Banking Solutions

About the role

Mastercard’s International Open Banking Product Value Proposition team is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead the development of data‑driven open banking solutions. You will work as an individual contributor, applying advanced analytics to create market‑leading products that improve affordability, credit decisioning, and identity verification for consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Apply a range of data‑science techniques to large data sets, from model development through to deployment support.
• Collaborate with data engineers and developers to design and launch interactive dashboards that deliver engaging insights to clients.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Conduct customer trials, handling data specification, processing, analysis, and presentation of results.
• Proactively pursue product excellence by investigating new data sources, encouraging cross‑team collaboration, managing project timelines, and adopting emerging tools and methods.
