Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Rad AI is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help build and maintain a high‑scale data platform that supports AI‑driven radiology solutions. You will work closely with researchers and product teams to deliver reliable data pipelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architecture using Apache Airflow, AWS Glue and Spark.
• Define internal standards for style, maintenance and best practices for a high‑scale data platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs for model training and production monitoring.
• Ensure data quality, integrity and security through validation, monitoring and access controls.

Required profile

• 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Hands‑on experience building distributed pipelines on large data sets.
• Proven ability to design, productionize and document reliable data infrastructure.

Required skills

• Apache Airflow
• AWS Glue
• Apache Spark
• SQL and NoSQL databases (AWS DynamoDB, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL)
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code with Terraform
