Senior Data Architect – Enterprise Data Strategy

About the role

The Senior Data Architect will lead the definition and execution of ePlus Technology’s enterprise data architecture. You will shape the vision, standards, and governance that enable trusted, scalable, and business‑aligned data across platforms, analytics, and AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own enterprise‑wide data architecture across business domains, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle Fusion ERP, analytics, AI, and governance.
• Define target‑state architectures, multi‑year roadmaps, reference architectures, and enterprise guardrails.
• Establish data domains, authoritative source principles, shared business entities, and interoperability standards.
• Develop and govern conceptual and logical enterprise data models; guide physical model implementation.
• Set patterns for governed data products, contracts, master/reference data, metadata, lineage, quality, retention, privacy, security, and lifecycle management.
• Lead cross‑domain architecture reviews, resolve design conflicts, and document decisions and exceptions.
• Drive adoption of Microsoft Purview for cataloging, glossary, lineage, classification, stewardship, and policy enforcement.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and governing enterprise data architectures.
• Proven ability to work with business data owners, stewards, and technology leaders.
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and quality principles.
• Experience with large‑scale ERP (Oracle Fusion) and modern data platforms (Microsoft Fabric).
