Senior CRE Relationship Manager

About the role

Associated Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Real Estate Relationship Manager to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial real estate clients. You will develop new business, deepen existing client relationships and deliver tailored financial solutions that support client success.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial real estate relationships while driving loan, deposit and fee income growth.
• Develop new business through prospecting, referrals, centers of influence and community networking.
• Analyze financial information and structure lending solutions that meet client needs and align with bank policies.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver treasury management, capital markets, insurance, private banking and wealth solutions.
• Present credit opportunities and recommendations through the loan approval process.
• Advise clients on financial strategies, industry trends and banking solutions.
• Monitor portfolio performance and credit quality for sound risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Represent the bank in the community to strengthen relationships and generate referrals.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial real estate lending, commercial banking or business-to-business sales.
• 10+ years of demonstrated success developing client relationships and achieving sales goals.
• Preferred: experience managing complex CRE portfolios, an established network of CRE professionals, experience with treasury management, capital markets and wealth management, and strong knowledge of commercial credit, risk management and regulatory requirements.
