Senior Consumer Insights Analyst – Marketing

About the role

Chipotle is looking for a Senior Analyst on the Consumer Insights team within Marketing. You will be curious, creative and collaborative, driving research that shapes product and marketing decisions to keep the brand aligned with consumer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with cross‑functional stakeholders to define business challenges and success metrics.
• Support all phases of primary quantitative and qualitative research across menu innovation, brand strategy, communication, brand health and cultural trends.
• Draft surveys, manage data collection, conduct analysis and produce polished summaries and discussion guides.
• Manage external research suppliers, develop RFPs, onboard vendors and ensure timely, on‑scope deliverables.
• Source and synthesize secondary or syndicated research to enrich findings and address ad‑hoc requests.
• Identify knowledge gaps and emerging cultural topics to keep insights ahead of the market.
• Maintain consumer insight records, documentation and a research library for easy access.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4‑year college or university.
• 3+ years of experience in consumer insights, agency or marketing roles.
• Strong knowledge of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Analytic problem‑solving mindset with a passion for digging deeper into data.
• Natural storyteller who can translate complex data into compelling narratives.
• Effective time‑management, flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.
