Senior Consultant – Pharmacovigilance & Safety Systems Implementation

About the role

Veeva Systems is seeking a senior consultant to lead the implementation of its Vault Safety solution for life‑sciences customers. You will work remotely, collaborating with customers and solution architects to drive rapid configuration and deployment of drug safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Lead life sciences customers in rapid configuration and implementation of Vault Safety.
• Define strategies, business processes, and implementation programs for deploying Vault Safety.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance.
• Manage project resources, track progress, and forecast delivery.
• Serve as primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior consultants and represent Safety Professional Services across engagements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of life sciences experience, primarily in Drug Safety or Pharmacovigilance.
• Hands‑on experience with safety databases such as ARISg, ARGUS, Oracle, Empirica, Commonwealth or RxLogix.
• Proven ability to manage diverse customers and deliver projects with high satisfaction.
• Strong knowledge of global drug safety regulations and processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Required skills

• ARISg (LifeSphere) or ARGUS safety database.
• Oracle, Empirica, Commonwealth, or RxLogix GxP solutions.
• SaaS/Cloud implementation experience.
