Senior Consultant

About the role

Our client, a well‑recognized business advisory and consulting firm, is seeking a Senior Consultant to support its growing portfolio of public‑company and private‑company clients. The role involves delivering high‑quality financial reporting, analysis, and advisory services.

Key responsibilities

• Review client books and records, reconciling account balances for supporting schedules.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, footnotes, and checklists.
• Support clients with Form 10‑K, Form 10‑Q filings and quarterly earnings releases.
• Prepare financial statements and footnotes for non‑public companies.
• Maintain and update accounting models in Excel.
• Identify unusual relationships in basis analysis for financial statements and account balances.
• Contribute to projects such as FP&A, IPO readiness, and M&A.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting.
• 3‑5 years of experience in public accounting.
• CPA certification or parts of the exam passed.
• Knowledge of GAAP; familiarity with SEC reporting is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for accounting models.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of $100,000 – $150,000 per year.
