Senior Community Manager – Owned Assets

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of The Waller and other owned‑asset properties in Austin. The role will lead on‑site teams, manage resources and ensure financial and operational targets are met while maintaining compliance with housing regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of two or more assigned properties, including staff management and resource allocation.
• Develop and monitor property budgets by analyzing financial statements, market data and operational reports.
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, and drive revenue to meet targeted performance.
• Ensure compliance with Greystar policies, Fair Housing, ADA, Fair Credit Reporting Act and other applicable laws.
• Coordinate with maintenance, leasing and marketing teams to optimize occupancy and resident satisfaction.
• Prepare regular performance reports for senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multifamily residential properties, preferably in a senior or community‑manager capacity.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis and revenue management.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing, ADA and other regulatory requirements governing multifamily housing.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate on‑site teams.
