Senior Cloud Engineer – Platform Automation & DevOps

About the role

Moog is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, automation, and lifecycle management of its enterprise cloud platforms across Azure and AWS. The role combines deep technical expertise with leadership to drive standardisation, resiliency and DevOps best practices in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, architect, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using Terraform, Bicep and CloudFormation.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub to support rapid delivery.
• Implement disaster‑recovery, resiliency and security controls for critical business workloads.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to standardise platform operations and drive automation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship as the cloud subject‑matter expert.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years of hands‑on cloud engineering.
• Proven experience designing and supporting production‑grade solutions on Azure (AWS experience a plus).
• Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305 or AZ‑400 are preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense or similarly complex enterprise environments.
