Senior Clinical Research Scientist

About the role

The Senior Clinical Research Scientist will join the Clinical Science & External Research team to disseminate global evidence from Johnson & Johnson MedTech Electrophysiology clinical trials and registries. The role focuses on creating high‑quality scientific content for peer‑reviewed publications and congress presentations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver scientific manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and presentations for peer‑reviewed journals and major cardiovascular/electrophysiology congresses.
• Draft evidence dissemination materials such as summaries, graphic abstracts, newsletters, and webpages for internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external physician authors to ensure scientific accuracy and integrity.
• Analyze clinical data and present it using tables and visual figures while adhering to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
• Coordinate document reviews, incorporate feedback, obtain approvals, and manage timely submissions.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Physical Science, Nursing, Biological Science or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in clinical publications within the medical industry, preferably in cardiovascular or electrophysiology therapeutic areas.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with proven scientific writing expertise.
• Project management ability to handle multiple concurrent projects.

Required skills

• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) knowledge.
• Good Publication Practice (GPP) and ICMJE standards.
• Familiarity with publication management platforms and reference software.
• Scientific writing and data visualization skills.
