Senior Clinical Program Coordinator – Oculoplastic Service

About the role

The University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is seeking a Senior Clinical Program Coordinator to lead the Oculoplastic Service program. This full‑time position oversees daily program activities, ensures alignment with the university’s mission, and supports both clinical and administrative functions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and coordinate assignments within the program to ensure seamless operations.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze results, and recommend actions.
• Coordinate clinical program activities with other departments to maximize efficiency.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholder communication.
• Develop collaborative partnerships to streamline processes and boost productivity.
• Train, develop, and empower staff; oversee hiring, performance appraisals, and employee records.
• Prepare reports, including financial statements, for management and external agencies.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and institutional information.
• Ensure compliance with university policies and safeguard assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in clinical program coordination or a similar role.
