About the role

The University of Miami’s Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is seeking a Senior Clinical Program Coordinator to lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of its clinical programs. This full‑time position supports the institute’s mission by overseeing daily program activities, ensuring quality, and driving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate program tasks to ensure seamless operations.
• Evaluate program effectiveness, analyze results, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate clinical activities with other departments and serve as primary point of contact for stakeholders.
• Develop collaborative partnerships to streamline processes and boost productivity.
• Train, develop, and empower staff; oversee hiring, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and time‑record management.
• Create program communications and promotional materials.
• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and other management documentation.
• Maintain records for quality assurance, safety, and compliance while safeguarding patient confidentiality.
• Monitor supply levels and adhere to university policies and asset protection guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in clinical program coordination or similar.
• Demonstrated learning agility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
