Senior Civil 3D Designer

About the role

Geosyntec is seeking a Senior Designer proficient in Civil 3D to support environmental, civil and geotechnical engineering projects. The role can be performed on‑site, remotely or in a hybrid model across multiple US locations.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, edit and finalize design plans and details following Geosyntec standards.
• Develop grading plans, plan‑and‑profile sheets, section views and detailed drawings for civil infrastructure, landfill cells, dams, stormwater improvements and remediation projects.
• Analyze sketches and notes to determine the best modeling approach and produce complete drawing sets.
• Collaborate with Autodesk Construction Cloud and other CADD practitioners to ensure quality and consistency.
• Participate in the CAD Action Group to improve standards, workflows and efficiencies.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Drafting or equivalent education.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering, geotechnical consulting or related design work.
• Strong ability to translate civil/geotechnical concepts into clear design drawings.
