Senior Business Analyst - Crypto & Digital Assets

About the role

Intetics Inc., a technology company specializing in custom software development and digital solutions, is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to work on a three-month, fully remote project for a UK-based client. The project covers cryptocurrency and digital asset products, including trading, custody, tokenization and digital asset investment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business and functional requirements for cryptocurrency and digital asset products
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and improve business processes, workflows and product offerings
• Analyze crypto trading, custody, tokenization, staking and digital asset management processes
• Translate complex business concepts into technical requirements and user stories
• Define integration requirements for exchanges, custody providers, liquidity providers and market data vendors
• Contribute to the design of tokenized investment products and digital asset investment solutions
• Support AML, KYC, compliance and digital asset governance initiatives
• Create process diagrams, use cases, user journeys and acceptance criteria
• Work with development teams from discovery through release and post-production support
• Support UAT and validate delivered functionality against business requirements
• Monitor market, technology and regulatory developments to identify product improvements

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Previous experience in cryptocurrency, blockchain, fintech, digital assets, trading platforms, exchanges or investment products
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets and major digital assets, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, stablecoins and tokenized assets
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals: wallets, custody, public and private blockchains, on-chain and off-chain transactions, smart contracts and token standards
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Experience creating user stories, use cases, BRDs, FRDs and acceptance criteria
• Experience modeling business processes with BPMN and UML
• Experience working with APIs and multi-integration systems
• Understanding of the crypto trading lifecycle, order management, settlement and asset transfers
• Familiarity with AML, KYC and compliance processes in digital asset ecosystems
• Agile environment experience; English level B2+ or higher

Nice to have

• Experience with exchanges such as Binance, Coinbase or Kraken, or institutional trading platforms
• Knowledge of DeFi, Web3 products and decentralized applications
• Experience with tokenized securities, digital bonds or regulated digital asset products
• Knowledge of MiCA, FCA requirements and the FATF Travel Rule
• Structured products, capital markets, digital asset risk management and basic blockchain architecture knowledge
• Experience with institutional investors, asset managers or custodians
