Senior Audit Support Assistant

About the role

Cotiviti is looking for a Senior Audit Support Assistant to join its Provider Services team and give advanced administrative support for healthcare audit activities. The role covers claims-related workflows, documentation verification, report preparation and claim investigation support, and is fully remote in the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Provide specialized administrative support for audit engagements, including file organization and data management.
• Respond to claim status inquiries and help with claims-related investigations.
• Generate, review and analyse reports on claim information for internal and external stakeholders.
• Verify claim details, calculations and supporting documentation before submission.
• Manage claim work queues, tagging and data entry tasks.
• Meet productivity targets while following departmental procedures and workflows.
• Review completed work against quality standards and report system issues and workflow problems to management.
• Collaborate with internal teams on escalated inquiries and provider claim resolutions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three years of administrative support experience.
• Preferred: three years in medical billing and provider reimbursement, familiarity with healthcare claims processing and audit support, and experience reviewing claims documentation.
• Ability to work independently and with international teams across time zones.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Attention to detail, organization, accuracy, time management and problem solving.
