About the role
Emigrant Savings Bank is looking for a versatile Senior Associate to join its Capital Markets team in Midtown, New York. The role involves independent project execution, analytical support for nationwide expansion, and development of private banking products.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare materials for Board of Director meetings and regulatory audit responses.
- Price mortgages, manage loan origination, and oversee bank liquidity reporting.
- Perform interest‑rate swap mark‑to‑market, daily margin posting, and foreign‑currency hedging (USD/AUD).
- Maintain relationships with federal agencies and produce periodic Excel reports on banking activity.
- Manage client investment accounts, conduct portfolio analysis, and develop proposals.
- Conduct corporate and municipal bond credit analysis, participate in credit committees, and manage ETF models.
- Prepare quarterly Account Review Committee materials and attend meetings.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in financial services, with strong knowledge of equity, alternative investments, and financial markets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, high attention to detail, and strong quantitative ability.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting.
- Financial modeling and analysis of financial statements.
- Mortgage pricing and loan origination processes.
- Interest‑rate swap valuation and margin posting.
- Foreign‑currency hedging (USD/AUD) and coupon exchanges.
- ETF model management.
- Experience with BNY Pershing NetX360 custodian platform.
