Senior Architecture Engineer

About the role

Moody's is seeking a Senior Architecture Engineer to shape the design of enterprise‑grade software solutions. You will work in a collaborative environment that values innovation, diverse perspectives, and responsible AI practices.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain overall software architecture for enterprise applications, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Create detailed architecture diagrams, technical workflows, and documentation using Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart or equivalent tools.
• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
• Establish coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines for development teams.
• Design and oversee implementation of cloud‑native and hybrid solutions on AWS and Azure.

Required profile

• 8+ years of software development and architecture experience.
• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.

Required skills

• AWS and Azure cloud platforms
• Microsoft Visio, PowerPoint, Lucidchart (or similar diagramming tools)
• Design of RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Relational and non‑relational database technologies
• MuleSoft and SAP CPI/BTP (preferred)
• Secure coding practices, identity management, encryption, compliance standards
• Containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes
• CI/CD pipeline implementation
• UML, ER diagrams, and system modelling tools
