Senior Application Support Analyst – Aladdin Front Office

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Application Support Analyst to join our global Front Office Application Support team in New York or Boston. The analyst will ensure the stability, performance and operational excellence of BlackRock’s Aladdin platform that underpins portfolio management, order management, trade execution and post‑trade processes for a leading asset‑management business.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/Level 3 production support for Aladdin and related front‑office applications.
• Investigate, diagnose and resolve incidents affecting portfolio, order and trade workflows.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis, coordinate with BlackRock, technology and business teams and drive issues to closure.
• Write and run SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation and reporting.
• Develop Python automation scripts to enhance monitoring and operational efficiency.
• Participate in release management, change control and continuous service‑improvement activities.
• Collaborate with regional teams to support a global operating model and manage incidents across time zones.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of experience supporting investment‑management or capital‑markets applications.
• Deep, hands‑on knowledge of BlackRock Aladdin front‑office workflows.
• Strong understanding of the investment lifecycle and trade‑booking processes.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication abilities.
