Senior Analyst, Passive Stewardship

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Senior Analyst for its Passive Stewardship function within the Global Governance & Advisory Team. The role focuses on corporate governance, proxy voting, and the development of stewardship strategies for passive investment products.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and evolve the stewardship strategy for Invesco’s passive investment strategies.
• Lead day‑to‑day activities of the Passive Stewardship team, setting priorities and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across ETF and Index Strategies on governance and proxy voting matters.
• Analyze proxy meeting materials and develop voting recommendations aligned with the Global Proxy Voting Policy.
• Develop and enhance voting guidelines and governance approaches across the passive fund range.
• Support growth and implementation of Invesco’s pass‑through voting program.
• Deliver high‑quality proxy voting data and insights to internal stakeholders and business partners.
• Shape engagement with investee companies on key governance and stewardship topics.
• Partner with client‑facing teams to address stewardship and proxy‑voting inquiries.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative team culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in investment stewardship, corporate governance, or proxy voting.
• Strong understanding of passive investment strategies, ETFs, and index funds.
• Proven ability to analyze proxy materials and formulate voting recommendations.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
