Senior Analyst / Junior Associate – Product Specialist (LatAm)

About the role

Santander is seeking a professional to support the origination and execution of Project Bonds transactions, and potentially Project Finance transactions, across Latin America. The role will contribute to the growth of the Project Bonds platform and explore new financing opportunities in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Support origination and execution of Project Bonds and Project Finance deals in LatAm.
• Analyze complex financing structures and prepare detailed financial models.
• Assist with credit and transaction analysis, ensuring rigorous risk assessment.
• Develop client‑facing presentations, marketing materials, and internal approval documentation.
• Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 + years of experience in Project Finance, preferably with infrastructure or energy exposure.
• Experience in debt capital markets, private placements, or related capital‑market activities is highly valued.
• Strong analytical abilities and the capacity to evaluate complex financing structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; bilingual English/Spanish is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
