Senior Analyst, Demand Planning

About the role

The Senior Analyst, Demand Planning will support Chipotle’s demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. You will develop forecasts, analyze trends, maintain planning tools and reports, and work cross‑functionally to improve visibility of demand‑related risks and opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end demand planning, including forecast preparation, data analysis, reporting and coordination with stakeholders.
• Maintain baseline demand forecasts and update them based on business trends, promotions, seasonality and other assumptions.
• Drive LTO and promotional demand planning through forecast development, scenario analysis and performance tracking.
• Prepare inputs and reports for the S&OP process, highlighting demand summaries, forecast changes, risks, opportunities and key assumptions.
• Analyze forecast performance and demand trends to identify gaps and recommend actions to improve accuracy.
• Develop, maintain and enhance reports, dashboards and planning tools that increase visibility and support decision‑making.
• Support sensitivity analysis and scenario modelling for new items, promotions and limited‑time offers.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs and work instructions for demand planning and S&OP activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, forecasting, inventory planning, operations planning or analytics.
• Proven experience supporting cross‑functional planning processes and working with large data sets to generate business insights.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a focus on translating data into clear recommendations.
