Senior Advanced Development Engineer

About the role

The Senior Advanced Development Engineer will lead early proof‑of‑concept projects that validate new vehicle architectures and features. This role involves building and commissioning prototype test assets and providing ongoing support to demonstrate functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the design and construction of advanced development bucks, mules, and benches.
• Lead integration of new components and software into prototype test assets.
• Perform hands‑on integration and commissioning of early prototypes.
• Test performance and functionality of early prototype builds.
• Collaborate closely with software and hardware engineers to mature proof‑of‑concepts.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in electrical, mechanical, automotive systems or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with automotive systems.
• Extensive hands‑on experience with early prototypes.
• Familiarity with software development processes and debugging.
• Experience with ECU development and debugging.
• Proven ability to work in cross‑functional teams and willingness to travel.
