Senior Accountant – Remote

About the role

Storable is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing accounting team. This remote position will own key accounting processes, support audits and tax compliance, and drive automation initiatives in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute and manage monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare, review, and reconcile journal entries, balance‑sheet accounts, accruals, and allowances.
• Support calculation and reporting of monthly commissions and related accounting entries.
• Provide detailed schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements and monthly consolidation reporting.
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements, including automation of manual workflows.
• Leverage AI‑powered and other automation tools to streamline reconciliations, variance analysis, and recurring reporting.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
• Perform additional accounting duties and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• CPA certification preferred or actively pursuing.
• Experience with SaaS accounting and NetSuite is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Experience with AI‑powered finance or accounting tools.
• Familiarity with NetSuite ERP.
• Knowledge of SaaS accounting processes.
