Senior Accountant

About the role

Our client, a growing organization, is looking for a Senior Accountant to lead the month‑end close process, prepare financial reports and work closely with cross‑functional teams. The role offers the chance to drive process improvements while supporting the company’s continued expansion in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and supporting analyses.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Support annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests.
• Review accounting transactions for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Partner with FP&A and other business teams on reporting and operational initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls and efficiencies.
• Participate in special projects, system implementations and ad‑hoc initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and month‑end close procedures.
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Public accounting experience or CPA designation is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.

• Advanced Excel.
• ERP systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP or Microsoft Dynamics.
