Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will be a key contributor to our financial management function, ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and insightful analysis to support business decisions. This role requires strong accounting expertise and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate core financial statements, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow.
• Maintain the general ledger, perform month‑end close, reconciliations, and fixed‑asset tracking.
• Oversee daily payables and receivables, managing invoice processing, approvals, and collections.
• Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, track actuals versus projections, and explain variances.
• Uphold internal controls, assist with audits, and implement improvement recommendations.
• Conduct detailed financial reviews to identify trends, discrepancies, and cost‑efficiency opportunities.
• Provide guidance and coaching to junior team members.
• Evaluate and refine accounting workflows for greater efficiency and scalability.
• Compile and present financial insights to leadership and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA or similar certification is a plus.
• Minimum five years of accounting experience, including at least two years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, reporting standards, and financial planning concepts.
• High level of precision, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
