Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will work with minimal supervision to ensure the completeness and accuracy of all general ledger transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP. This role supports the global accounting function, contributing to the preparation of consolidated financial statements for a leading beverage company.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly accounting close procedures, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries for operating companies, including consolidation and elimination entries.
• Record, analyze, and review inter‑ and intra‑company transactions.
• Review trial balances, monthly trends, and perform additional analyses to support the close.
• Analyze and review operating company financial statements, both domestic and foreign.
• Prepare and review U.S. GAAP financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
• Develop high‑quality balance‑sheet account reconciliations.
• Support quarterly external reporting deliverables and assist internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in month‑end close processes and consolidation.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a strong control environment.
