About the role

David Rio is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Finance & Accounting team. The role is pivotal for maintaining the integrity of financial operations, from month‑end close to inventory accounting and sales‑tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries and oversee the month‑end close process.
• Handle inventory accounting and reconcile related balances.
• Ensure accurate sales‑tax calculations and timely filings.
• Prepare and review financial reports for internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Controller, Operations, Purchasing, and Retail teams to provide reliable financial data.

Required profile

• Professional, accountable, and self‑disciplined with a strong work ethic.
• Experience in senior accounting roles, preferably within a fast‑growing consumer‑goods environment.
• Ability to work independently in a hybrid setting and maintain a well‑equipped home office.
