Senior Accountant, Consolidations

About the role

The Senior Accountant, Consolidations joins Authentic Brands Group’s corporate accounting team to ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial statements under U.S. GAAP. You will play a pivotal part in monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles, delivering reliable financial information for internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidation process, meeting all deadlines.
• Prepare and review consolidation journal entries, including intercompany eliminations, investment eliminations, and foreign currency translation adjustments.
• Analyze and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions, collaborating with regional accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain the OneStream consolidation system and ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow, equity changes).
• Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of consolidation principles, intercompany transactions, foreign currency translation, and equity accounting.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Ability to work effectively with regional accounting teams to resolve discrepancies.
