Security Officer – Entry Control

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer focused on entry control for a dynamic food and beverage location in Palestine, TX. You will be the first point of contact for employees, visitors and contractors, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment while protecting client assets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following site‑specific access control procedures.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, or unusual activity and report details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Support emergency response activities, including directing foot traffic and assisting with access restrictions during critical situations.

Required profile

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation and drug screening as required by law.
• Hold a valid driver’s license if driving duties are required.
