Security Manager – Stadium Operations

About the role

The Security Manager will lead the stadium security team, ensuring safe and well‑protected environments for Orlando City, Orlando Pride, and Inter&Co Stadium events. You will develop security strategies, manage staff, and act as Incident Commander on event days.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive event security plans in partnership with the Director of Safety & Security.
• Manage the Visitor Management Program, including administration of the Receptionist platform and employee training.
• Train and mentor in‑house security personnel on incident response, guest service standards, emergency protocols, and best practices.
• Conduct venue security assessments and participate in site inspections for all stadium events.
• Oversee loading dock operations, 24/7 coverage, delivery coordination, and patrol log completion.
• Lead pre‑event security briefings for internal staff and third‑party vendors.
• Coordinate maintenance, repair, and readiness of security equipment with conversion and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, league security standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as Incident Commander within the Security Command Post on event days.
• Travel with team operations throughout the season to support security and event management objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security management, preferably in large‑venue or sports environments.
• Strong leadership abilities with experience supervising a team of security staff.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal departments and external partners.
• Ability to develop cost‑efficient security solutions and enforce policies effectively.
