Securities Valuation Analyst I

About the role

Invesco is seeking a Securities Valuation Analyst I to support daily pricing and valuation activities. You will develop a solid understanding of pricing processes through structured training and on‑the‑job experience while performing routine valuation tasks with growing autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain daily security prices from approved internal and external sources.
• Perform daily variance, exception, and tolerance review checks.
• Validate pricing inputs using secondary market data sources such as Bloomberg, JPM, and LSEG.
• Maintain accuracy of the daily pricing workflow and controls.
• Support improvements to pricing processes, data quality, and documentation of pricing procedures.
• Prepare standard reports and respond to data requests for fund audits.
• Address inquiries from fund accountants, compliance specialists, auditors, and investment professionals.
• Review and validate foreign exchange rates and corporate action impacts.
• Assist with special projects related to pricing, valuation controls, data remediation, or reporting enhancements.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in finance, accounting, economics, or a related analytical field within the securities or investment industry.
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial principles relevant to securities pricing.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial data applications; advanced Excel skills a plus.
• Familiarity with market data platforms (ICE, Bloomberg, LSEG) preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
