About the role

The Upland Unified School District is seeking a dedicated Secondary Teacher to deliver Career & College Ready instruction for the 2026/2027 academic year at Upland Junior High School/Foothill Knolls Academy. The role focuses on preparing students for post‑secondary pathways through rigorous curriculum and personalized support.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver, and assess secondary‑level instruction aligned with career and college readiness standards.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that integrate academic content with real‑world career exploration.
• Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, counselors, and administrators to support student achievement.
• Maintain accurate records, comply with district policies, and participate in professional development.

Required profile

• Valid Single Subject Teaching Credential.
• English Learner Authorization (certificate or embedded in credential).
• Recent Letter of Introduction and three current letters of recommendation (within the past 12 months).
• Current resume, transcript, and credential copy.
