Seasonal Event Services Intern

About the role

This seasonal internship supports the Event Services Department at the Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center. You will gain hands‑on experience coordinating concerts, family shows, NBA games, and a variety of smaller events such as meetings, trainings, and rehearsals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior event managers and coordinators with reviewing booking forms and preparing event worksheets.
• Help prepare estimates and final invoices for small‑scale events, including Court of Dreams and arena tours.
• Support coordination of VIP parties, sponsorship activations, radio placements, and concourse set‑ups.
• Facilitate dressing‑room logistics and create event‑specific signage.
• Conduct walk‑throughs and inspections to ensure proper set‑up and guest safety.
• Collect, organize, and validate event data for departmental reporting and trend analysis.
• Maintain inventory audits, track equipment usage, and update conversion calendars.
• Complete daily administrative tasks and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Available for the full internship period from September 2026 to March 2027, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an Event Management or Sports Management program.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel.
