Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist

About the role

Faithworks, a Christian marketing agency, is seeking an SEO Specialist to lead search engine optimization for one of its mission‑driven clients. You will shape content strategy, keyword planning, and link‑building initiatives to boost rankings across major search platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze performance data to identify trends and maximize ROI.
• Optimize copy, landing pages, and site architecture for search engine visibility.
• Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
• Research and implement SEO recommendations, staying current with algorithm updates.
• Develop and execute link‑building strategies.
• Collaborate with content, paid media, and web teams to align SEO with broader campaigns.
• Monitor competitor advertising links and adjust tactics accordingly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO with a data‑driven, detail‑oriented approach.
• Comfort managing multiple client projects simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
• BS/MS degree in a quantitative, test‑driven field.

Required skills

• SEO strategy and keyword research.
• Link‑building techniques.
• Google Analytics and other analytics tools (NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends).
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

What we offer

• Pay: $35‑$40 per hour
