Scheduling Coordinator - Redi Carpet

About the role

HD Supply is hiring a Scheduling Coordinator for its Redi Carpet operation. The role coordinates the day-to-day scheduling of the operation, keeps schedules accurate and communicates with production, installers and customers to set installation dates. It is performed under general supervision, with most of the time spent sitting indoors.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production schedules with installers, vendors, subcontractors and customers to set installation timelines.
• Work with external customers, vendors and internal staff to gather information for work planning, scheduling priorities, technical issue resolution, change incorporation and special requirements.
• Communicate with customers about scheduling, status and technical issues, and share installation date schedules with internal departments so products meet deadlines.
• Coordinate flow and work orders according to quality control inspections, schedule and customer requests.
• Maintain accurate records of all trades and use a computerized system for tracking, information gathering and troubleshooting.
• Refer complex or unusual problems to the supervisor.

Required profile

• Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred; specialized skills training or certification may be required.
• Works under general supervision, exercising some judgment within defined policies and procedures.
